Habitat for Humanity Today
First Christian Church of Shelbina , Missouri gave us a head start on the 19th Habitat house, by building our walls one weekend in early June 2014 and transporting them to our building site at 1726 North 16th in Quincy. First Christian Church had partnered with Crossroads Mission's Help Brings Hope program based in Louisville,Kentucky. Crossroads Missions travels the country working with churches and other organizations who want to help build a home for a not-for-profit organization. We will work on the Habitat home every Saturday starting at 8:30 AM. Lunch is always provided and we welcome your help. Please contact Lee Lindsay Curtis by email , text or phone if you want to bring a group.(At different stages of the build we won't be able to use large numbers.) QAHFH is made up of ALL VOLUNTEERS.We do not have paid staff so your donations go towards building materials and professional labor only. To volunteer contact Lee Curtis at 217-316-9311 or firstname.lastname@example.org.

Habitat has built more than 600,000 houses around the world,
providing millions of people in thousands of
communities with safe, decent, affordable housing. These homes
were built because of the belief that as Christians, we honor God
by building simple, decent homes with families in need of shelter.
