Habitat for Humanity Today
Habitat has built more than 300,000 houses around the world,
providing more than 1,000,000 people in more than 3,000
communities with safe, decent, affordable housing. These homes
were built because of the belief that as Christians, we honor God
by building simple, decent homes with families in need of shelter.
Construction was started on Habitat's 2010 house for the Jennifer Nichols family back in September. The home is now complete and ready for the Dedication!
We are having our Dedication Ceremony and Open House this Palm Sunday 4/17/11. The tour starts at 11:30 with the brief ceremony at noon, followed by refreshments. The public is welcome to attend. This home was sponsored by First Union Congregational church in celebration of their 150th birthday.Click here for current photos!.
