Habitat for Humanity Today
Jessica Flacks and sons were selected for our 2013 home. Construction began Saturday July 21 and Sunday the 22. Work continued until the rains came Sunday afternoon and, for safety reasons, we decided to stop and continue the following Saturday. The Blitz Build did bring out 37 volunteers and thanks to their efforts the walls were raised and the tool shed almost completed! The women of St. John's Anglican and Madison Park Christain churches provided delicious lunches for the workers! Quincy Area Habitat for Humanity is an all volunteer organization who relies on generous people to give of their time and talents. We need your help!! To volunteer contact Lee Curtis at 217-316-9311 or firstname.lastname@example.org to volunteer.

Habitat has built more than 600,000 houses around the world,
providing millions of people in thousands of
communities with safe, decent, affordable housing. These homes
were built because of the belief that as Christians, we honor God
by building simple, decent homes with families in need of shelter.
